Please forgive me Lord for missing church these last few weeks. I realize I have become rather lazy in following your good Word as I have become rather consumed with hunting for jobs and in my own life. I have to take a step back and realize that I am in this position for a reason. I should be using more of my time to get more in tune with my writing, to stay atop my reading and most importantly, stay connected to You. Instead, I oftentimes place all of my energy into job hunting to get out of unemployment and lose track of what's important. Forgive me of these things Lord and help me learn to take a step back and take steps toward you.
